Why do we call it a pop-up workshop? Because you need to be ready to go when the flowers are blooming and this weekend, March 18, 2017 is the time to do it!
Join us to learn everything you need to know about shooting wildflowers in the hills above Ventura. There is a great CA poppy bloom going on, and we want to take you there. We will show you about composition, exposure and special techniques to get the shot. We will be sitting in the grass and dirt on a steep slope, so be prepared.
Bring your Digital Camera, and your tripod. Also bring your telephoto and your wide angle lenses as well as a small round reflector if you have one.
Wear hiking boots or lug soled shoes. We will be hiking on uneven ground for about 1/2 mile on a strenuous uphill slope to get to the location. It’s safe, but strenuous for a short way. It’s well worth the time and effort to get there.
We will meet the group at 7am at the McDonald’s at Victoria Plaza in Ventura and caravan to the location.
5980 Telegraph Rd.
There is a $5 parking fee and a $99 fee for the workshop.
