We’ll be exploring the streets of Old Downtown Ventura, capturing the lights and sights of this historic and interesting architectural and culturally diverse California seaside town at its best, in the late afternoon and early evening hours.

Your DSLR or your Smartphone are the tools used by our street photographers and we teach you how to shoot in a low profile with quick captures! It will force you to step out of your comfort zone of a zoom lens and make you work a little for that shot!

We will be using fast, 50mm to 35mm fixed focused lenses, the perferred lenses for the streets. You will be moving into the action with your feet rather than zooming with a lens and capturing the moments. But if you don’t have a fast fixed lens, a medium zoom lens will do along with a smart phone too. “The decisive moment” will inspire!

We will meet at the fountain, across from Old Mission San Buenaventura at 3:00 PM. Hope to see you!
